Wicker has been documented as far back as ancient Egypt, made from indigenous "reed and swamp grasses."

Middle-class families could only afford a few pieces, such as small tables. Hand assembled for an added special feel to the wonderful product.

Rattan design makes for a natural and artisanal look and feel to the wicker chair Hand woven rattan design gives forth a sense of uniqueness to the stunning design.

However, archaeologists working on the tombs of the wealthy pharaohs have uncovered a wider variety of wicker items, including "chests, baskets, wig boxes, and chairs".

Wicker even found use in the Achaemenid Empire on the battlefield, in shields.

The Livingstone Rattan armchair Lounge is a curved seat for added comfort while sitting or simply relaxing.
